Curtis E. A. Karnow published THIS ARTICLE in the International Journal of Communications Law and Policy as part of a special issue addressing cyber-crime.
The paper is significant in that it significantly substantiates the legal opinions that I and folks like Jennifer Granick made regarding self-defense and the application of nuisance law where applicable to the Strikeback framework (Jennifer also contributed an article regarding vulnerability disclosure).

I'm proud of the fact that my materials were referenced several times throughout the article, not because I get to say "told-you-so", but rather because it illustrates that people are realizing that computer security issues are becoming mainstream, and that we must work together to develop a solution that works.  It is very important that rational and intelligent people  help contribute solutions to. The piece was published in cooperation with the Yale Journal of Law and Technology, and deserves your attention.

Some excellent research and in-depth analysis has also been produced and published by Sergio Caltagirone and Deborah Frinckle on their ActiveResponse.org website for those who want more material.
